A busy day in Cheshire today making safe a sandstone gate post on a grade 1 listed property.
This post had roots growing into the side lifting the post into an unstable and unsafe position.
We used lifting gear to remove the post that was around 350kg. The stone post was then re-set and good for another 100 years.
